The innovative sandwich structure consisting of glass fibre reinforced core and unireinforced skin material provides excellent characteristics: high elasticity, toughness and stiffness coupled with slim dimensions and an insensitive and easy-to-clean surface. Compared to other state-of-the-art materials like Polyamide, Polyurethane or wood plastic composites several benefits stand out: properties independent from humidity, various colours beyond the standard range possible, moderate price and complete recyclability.
