Binesh Viswanath, Founder & CEO

 

Binesh Viswanath is the founder, and CEO of Woodzon, which he started with Rinosh Jacob Kurian in 2015. Binesh sets the company’s strategy to connect people to unique buying experiences, and drives Woodzon’s mission to create a community where anyone can belong anywhere.

Prior to Woodzon, Binesh is best known for his 8+ years heading Woodnews aas Vice President, the leading B2B Trade magazine for woodworking industry. He has been active with B2B Forums, Seminars and Trade Missions during his tenure with Woodnews. Binesh holds a Masters in Computer Application and Executive Program In Business Management from the IIM Calcutta.

Heading up the marketing and strategy side of Woodzon, Binesh believes in being involved in both the planning and execution stages of projects. With a keen eye for detail, he keeps the team on course and ensures our work is up to high standards. His background of marketing and design makes him a double threat who is able to recognize opportunities, make smart business decisions, and foster a creative environment for day-to-day operations.

Binesh is keen on taking high-level concepts and creating accessible solutions that are right for our clients' project and budget. He is tirelessly exploring and absorbing information on the newest of technologies to keep Woodzon ahead of not just this curve, but the next one

 

Rinosh Jacob Kurian, CTO & Co-Founder

Rinosh loves looking for and helping build what's next in technology. Rinosh comes to Woodzon after five years as an Enterprise Architect at UST Global, where he designed and built backend processes and web applications for clients. Rinosh has nearly 20 years of Digital Marketing experience and brings extensive Adwords, Analytics, Account Management and Customer Service knowledge to Woodzon.

Rinosh oversees Quality Provider Recruiting, the Quality Provider Community and Customer Lead Generation. Acknowledged for capacity to tackle challenging issues, analyze viable alternatives, and provide creative solutions. Strong work ethic, personal integrity, and channelled energies are major strengths in addition to independent work habits and the determination to conquer technical challenges. A resourceful, life-long learner, embracing knowledge as a tool for improved problem-solving effectiveness.

Rinosh commands the development efforts at Woodzon with full authority, handling primary application development and strategic decision-making surrounding that epic job. His extensive experience in web development and database design allows him to not only seamlessly support our creative efforts but also to come up with elegant and scalable applications.

Vinoth has experience in creating and nurturing brands in diverse categories from traditional trade exhibitions to new age technology (e-commerce, online fashion, services and content). This spans from India’s most preferred woodworking trade exhibition INDIAWOOD to global shows, with diverse experience in digital and traditional marketing.

At Woodzon Vinoth lead a marketing team directly responsible for online channel performance including: SEO, PPC, Affiliates, Display Advertising, Web Analytics, Customer Satisfaction and Customer Insight. This includes marketing strategy, brand marketing, ATL/BTL, digital/online marketing and demand generation for Woodzon.com

Gerald joins the team at Woodzon with diverse experience in digital and traditional marketing. From high-level strategic planning to hands-on endeavors like SEO and conversion rate optimization audits, he’s been bringing passion to his work crafting strategic digital experiences for more than 15 years. Gerald leverages his experience in industries which include events, seminars, B2B technology and more to combine creativity and best practices to bring clients a strategic mix of the best of both worlds.

Head Of Operations

At Woodzon, Karthik believes in looking at consumer needs, creating measurable goals to meet those needs and designing a sales strategy that aggressively pursues those goals. When he gets a little time of the office, Karthik can be found interacting with customers, trying to predict the trends. He oversees the Club Membership and Group Buying, responsible for supporting customers and suppliers in over 10 cities and payments. Prior to joining Woodzon, Karthik spent six years at Woodnews.
