STRUCTURE
Press structure in steel beams welded together on a precision jigs; locating surfaces are CNC tool machined
The lower mobile platen and the upper fix platen structure are in beams welded on a precision jigs.
Double rack and pinion system (both length and crosswise) to grant a perfect platens? parallelism when the mobile one is moving up/downward.
Movable platen locking system in order to work safely during the maintenance operations

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
Hydraulic power unit (HAWE) composed by a double stage pump and a motor which are submersed in the hydraulic oil for a less noisiness and a better lubrication of the rotating parts.
Closing stage (high delivery at low pressure)
Thrusting stage (low delivery at high pressure)
Both pumps are protected by a pressure relief valve.
This system allows the use of lower consumption motors increasing the efficiency of the plant.
Unit fitted with control and safety valves which are located in a group over the hydraulic oil tank lid
The circuit comes filled with the necessary hydraulic oil to run the press.
Rams are in steel suitable for hydraulic applications and are designed to work at the max pressure adjustable on the press..

ELECTRIC SYSTEM
Main control board (Siemens components) including:
– Dual timed press closing push buttons; press opening push button.
– Main on/off switch.
– Tension light.
– Emergency push button
Operator control, touch screen board, with 7? digital display, SIEMENS KTP700 BASIC COLOR equipped with

ETHERNET NET for remote assistance connection (it must be provided an access to your net + Service pack) to set and control the following functions:
1) Setting and display of the working pressure
2) Setting and display of the working temperature (presses with electric heater)
3) Setting and display of the pressing time for automatic opening
4) Setting of the heating plant automatic switching on (presses with electric heater). Possibility of all week days setting
5) possibility to automatically set the partial use the power consumption of the boiler when it reaches the set temperature (for presses with electric boiler) only for machines with more than 20 kW boiler
6) automatic adjustment of the requested pressure in bar (with automatic recovery of pressure decrease) obtained by setting the working pieces area and the desired specific pressure
7) Automatic switching OFF of one set of pistons according to the dimension of the board to be processed (optional version)
8) Possibility to store up to 100 working recipes (temperature-pressure-time-panel dimension)
9) Self-diagnostic showing faults of the press

FABRICATED STEEL PLATENS
Fabricated steel platens suitable to use water or thermal oil as heating medium.
Max specific working pressure: 5 Kg/cm?.
Max. pressure of the heating medium 0,5 bar.
The platen composition starting form the supporting frame of the platen itself is the following:
– thermal insulation sheet;
– High resistance glossy planed iron sheet
– heating steel coil (rectangular shape), tested at 2 bar pressure.
– Set of iron pipe fitted between the coils (same shape) in order to grant the platen strength and uniformity of the platen;
– High resistance glossy planed iron sheet

The sandwich is assembled by rods that are used for the platen fixing to the press structure, this system allows both, thermal expansion and the possibility of maintenance operation on the coils

HEATING SYSTEM WITH ELECTRIC HEATER FOR THERMAL OIL (MAX. LIQUID TEMPERATURE 120 ?C)
Heating system with electric heater for thermal oil ( 18 kW).
Max. liquid temperature 130 ?C
The plant is equipped with circulating pump, open expansion tank, pipes from the boiler to the press, valves for circuit air exhausting, electric control board, safety and check instruments.
The boiler is supplied complete of the necessary oil for the first plant filling.
Pipe insulation excluded.
