Swedish furniture brand Ikea has launched a festive collection for the Indian market, including furnishings and home décor. The new ‘Aromatisk’ collection is designed to enable the business to tap into festive shopping and solidify its position in the Indian market.
“Make festivities more festive,” announced Ikea on Facebook. “Turn your home into a hub of celebration with our Aromatisk collection! Inspired by the rich traditions of India, our colourful serving dishes, stylish fabrics, and more will infuse your space with the festive spirit, no matter where you are.”
Ikea’s new Aromatisk line is designed for Indian autumn festivities. The collection features a wide range of patterned fabrics, serving plates, gift boxes, and furnishings in bright hues with motifs including paisley designs and peacocks among others.
Inspired by traditional Indian arts and crafts, Aromatisk illustrates the importance of the Indian market and Indian shoppers to the business. The line is available in Ikea’s brick-and-mortar stores across the country.
Notable items from the collection include the ‘Aromatisk Peacock Decoration’ which is designed as a festive centrepiece and was designed by Hanna Grann Dalrot, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. Soft cotton textile throws with long fringes are designed to add colour to living spaces and a line of cushion covers designed by Luna Gil feature a traditional style dot design.
