HomeLane, the go-to company in India for timely home interiors, opened its first home interiors studio in Bengaluru’s RR Nagar neighbourhood, staffed entirely by women. The RR Nagar studio is the company’s 10th in Bengaluru and 44th overall in India, in keeping with their expansion objectives. HomeLane’s RR Nagar studio will employ only women, in line with the company’s mission to support diversity in hiring and support women who are reentering the workforce. This choice was motivated by RR Nagar, which takes its name from the Jnanakshi Rajarajeshwari Temple, where Goddess Sri Rajarajeshwari is the presiding deity.
The company has hired women in positions such as those in the Sales, Community, Delivery, and Design departments at the new 2027 square foot HomeLane studio. Customers can experience a wide range of warm and inviting display house setups at The Studio, explore design concepts, and collaborate on the creation of their homes with devoted design experts.
Sharing his insights, Mr Tanuj Choudhry, COO and Co-Founder, HomeLane said, “Bengaluru has been a very promising market for HomeLane and we are excited to launch our 10th Studio in the city. What is more unique about our new unit at RR Nagar, is that all employees at the Studio are women. At HomeLane, we have always taken cohesive steps to bring a paradigm shift in the industry. Today 25% of our overall workforce comprises of women but the vision behind this new studio is to empower more women in the home interior industry, even the larger cohort who have taken a break from work due to socio-economic factors.”
To the benefit of new-age homeowners, the new Studio is centrally located at BEML Layout in RR Nagar, a budding residential neighbourhood, where the demand for modern and modular interiors has seen a significant rise. The Studio is curated with kitchen, living room and bedroom display setups in varied colours and wooden shades that allow consumers to experience the quality of products offered by HomeLane, meet expert designers and proceed to design their dream interiors. More consumers are looking to associate with organised players who can deliver personalised designs at optimal price points within predictable timelines. Courtesy: www.apnnews.com
