Aryamman Interior Solutions Pvt. Ltd with the goal of fostering industry expansion and serving the Indian market

Aryamman Interior Solutions was founded with a vision to introduce high quality products to the furniture industry and interior design project industry. The team is led by the visionary Dhanesh Bhatia, who brings to the team his own exceptional taste and experience of the needs for the modular furniture sector.

Aryamman has evolved from being the top supplier of calibrated plywood for the modular industry to offering premium, hand-selected European surfaces to create lifestyle furniture for the Indian interior market. Aryamman offers the various components needed for surfaces that are coordinated and imported from all over Europe, complementing their product line and enhancing the aesthetics of furniture. These components include textured boards, ultra high gloss, and soft touch anti-fingerprint super matte boards.

Give us a brief introduction to Aryamman interior solutions as a global brand and its inception in India?

Aryamman started initially 2 decades ago as a supplier of calibrated plywood to the modular industry. Seeing the need for high-end surfaces to encourage Indian Manufacturers to Make in India Furniture to compete against European Furniture, and with a vision to contribute to the growth of the industry, we started introducing Exclusive Panels and Surfaces.

Can you give us an overview of your various product portfolios? Which products have been and are still particularly successful for Aryamman Interior Solutions?

Starting from calibrated plywood (also in larger format of size 10×4), we offer innovative and intelligent materials like Veneer Effect Boards on Plywood, Super Matt Surfaces with Scratch Removal Features in Solids, Brushed Metals, Marbles and Stones etc., Ready to use High Gloss Acrylic boards, Acrylic Glass Sheets in High Gloss and Exclusive Sand Blasted Matt, PU Lacquered Boards in HDHMR in High Gloss and Soft Touch Super Matt, we are privileged to be patronised by the leading high-end furniture producers and have been successful in continued patronage with all our products that we have launched.

A wide range of innovative materials are available. How do you see competition in the field of innovation?

Competition should always be welcome and is also necessary as it gets the best out of you and compels you to innovate in decors, surface finishes, trends and also helps the industry to grow. In India, being a domestically consumption-based economy, it is also important to have competition in the broader interests of the industry. As an organisation, we are one of the few suppliers offering a larger basket of products and decors under one roof, and that becomes an important criteria for the furniture manufacturer whilst choosing the right supplier. We have worked towards this concept keeping competition in mind.

Apart from India, what other regions do you currently serve? What is the demand for these products in these countries?

We believe India is on the cusp of exponential growth for the next few decades, not years, and is currently one of the brightest spots in the global economy. Hence, our goal and vision is to cater to and fulfil the Indian market, which now looks more like a continent than a country in terms of demand.

What are your business plans for the next five years in terms of the Indian market, the cities you aim to enter, and the markets you wish to penetrate?

With the current product portfolio, we already have an established presence in the major Tier 1 cities of India and also in the Tier 2 cities. With more mechanisation taking place across regional areas and markets becoming more mature with the acceptance of high-end products, we will be digging deeper and wider through our concept of a pure B2B supplier to the modular industry. Deeper into more product offerings for our current customers and wider by spreading our wings to untapped markets.

Why is wood such a popular choice for home interior solution? Despite the influx of new façade materials, how does wood continue to attract a large number of buyers in the high-end market?

Due to its longevity whilst making furniture, having one of the largest coastlines in the world, having tropical weather in larger areas of the country, wood will always be a preferred choice for high-end markets. Due to strong water and weather resistance, mechanical and technical USPs of wood compared to other substitutes, and also because of the Indian style and way of using furniture, especially in kitchens, wood will always have an advantage over other products.

What are the industries/segments in which you work? Where do you believe the biggest demand exists?

We are currently working on the kitchen and wardrobe segment. Modular Kitchens is a large segment, but we expect the wardrobe and vanity segments to grow in size in the future.

What are your expansion plans? Is there any new business alliances, collaborations, or expansion initiatives in the planning for Aryamman?

We will continue to focus on providing the most recent advancements in surfaces and decors, as we have done for the past ten years. We have revised our business strategy moving ahead and will be marketing the majority of our products under our own brand. Naturally, every product that is released will follow European standards for quality and specifications while also taking into account the functional requirements for furniture in India.

A noticeable shift has been witnessed in the consumers pick that has travelled from non- branded to branded laminates. In terms of sustainability and environmental friendliness, how does Aryamman perform?

Yes, there is a shift from branded to non-branded products. As mentioned, we have already created our own niche segment and identity in the markets and can proudly say that customers look up to Aryamman as a brand to cater to the industry, so all products that we launch under our own brand have already won the trust and confidence of the customers with products adhering to the highest standards and norms. Most of our products are FSC certified, meaning they come from sustainable resources. Some of our surfaces are Phenol Free and we are trying to increase the Phenol Free range, keeping in mind a healthy environment to breathe in. Our brand SychronPly has E0 and CARB2 certified plywood as its core material, so we are trying to contribute our bit by prompting and offering such sustainable products.
