Over 400 top firms to attend Dubai WoodShow 2023

The 19th edition of the Dubai International Wood and Woodworking Machinery Exhibition opens tomorrow (March 7) in Dubai, bringing together approximately 10,000 visitors and 400 exhibitors from more than 60 countries worldwide during its three-day run.

The Dubai WoodShow 2023 will see leading groups showcase their most innovative products, technologies, production scenarios, and large-scale machinery in front of leading industry specialists and representatives of government agencies from the region, said the organisers.

It offers a dynamic venue for local and international suppliers, manufacturers, and machinery companies to exchange expertise, knowledge, and experiences to support collaborative opportunities and attract investments for the further growth of the wood and woodworking industry, it stated.

The exhibition will showcase woodworking products and specialised machines such as panel saws, grooving tools, and other high-quality cutting materials, in a bid to help manufacturers keep pace with the newest developments in the industry through holding a conference, B2B meetings/matchmaking, seminars, and networking sessions, it added.

The main conference will put spotlight on key topics, including “Protecting and preserving wood against biodegradation”, “Digitalisation in the wood industry” as well discuss timber production and timber market trends, opportunities and challenges for international trade, and the logistical impact of import and export on the distribution of wood products, said the organisers. The second day will witness the announcement of winners of the WoodShow Innovation and Excellence Awards, in two main ategories – Corporate Awards and Individual Awards. www.tradearabia.com
