The MOD mortising machines perform bores and slots in an automatic work cycle.
Special features of these machines are:
– Strong cast iron frame.
– Oscillation movement of spindles with ball bushing, sliding on hardened and ground guides.
– Over dimensioned spindle to work with tools with large diameter (max. 50 mm.)
– Drive belt to spindle with high contact.
– High oscillation frequency to assure a perfect finish and high output.
– Easy adjustment of the slot width by decimal digital read-out, without the use of wrenches.
– Adjustment of the distance between table and spindle to reduce the approaching stroke according to tool length.
– Hydraulic control of table feed speed.
