Senosan/Senoplast is a producer of thermoplastic foils in uni-colours and metallics for the furniture industry. These surfacing materials are used then in kitchens, wardrooms etc. – all kind of cabinets, living room, interior use…

We have a broad variety of products, from industrial to premium, from thin to thick, and from glossy to matte. With this big variety, we can supply a lot of junk on the market.

Can you give us an overview of your various product portfolios? Which products have been and are still particularly successful for SENOPLAST?

Senosan is known as the best foil product for high-gloss furniture surfaces. Same can be said also for matt surfaces which become more and more popular.

What are your business plans for the next five years in terms of the Indian market, the cities you aim to enter, and the markets you wish to penetrate?

As mentioned above, with the present products, we can meet the majority of requests for glossy and matte furniture surfaces. Additionally with our new product PET foils which will be launched next year we can additionally reach markets which are more price sensitive.

The growth strategies you have adopted to maintain your position in this global market?

With this product variety (also for the future), it is more or less unavoidable that it will grow, as no other company can presently provide such a wide product range in foils.

As we have our own R&D department, colouring department, machinery dept., marketing etc. we can react extremely flexible and quickly on all kind of trends and requests.

A wide range of innovative materials are available. How do you see competition in the field of innovation?

Competition at the end is necessary for our own developments. We just have to look at what is good on the market—which we can then improve—and the bad things, which should be avoided.

What are the industries/segments in which you work? Where do you believe the biggest demand exists?

Beside the general growth of people in the world, more and more people can afford reasonable furniture (kitchen, bedroom, etc.), and therefore there is big demand everywhere.

What are your expansion plans? How many appliance dealers and distributors do you have? Is there any new business alliances, collaborations, or expansion initiatives in the planning for SENOPLAST?

More and more manufacturers who can work with our material are present, and consequently, these ones make alliances with distributors, dealers, etc.
