Lomex India Private Limited Sri Dwarka Prasad Goyal Originally at Village Hansi (Haryana) migrated to Assam in the year 1948 with a dream in his axes to earn a livelihood for his coming generations and partner the thriving state of Assam. That has sown seeds for the present DPG Group. In those early days1960, DPG himself was in the business of trading timber and used to own plot of small Tea gardens only in Assam. Parallel to this he started off with Timber saw mill ,then veneer manufacturing and finally Plywood manufacturing thus creating a niche in the Timber industry succeeded by his sons .Very soon DPG soon became one of the primary manufacturers of non decorative veneer in Upper assam & Arunachal Pradesh thus being one of the largest manufacturers of Non Decorative Veneer.By 1980 Diyunaply Groups own Plywood brand had created a special niche in the plywood industry sector.But unfortunately the industry has to face an untimely death in guess of Humble Supreme Courts order banning all timber industry in North Eastern Region
