The
Budget for Fiscal Year 2023 contains a lot of promise for the furniture
industry’s economy.
The economy looks bright in the Budget for
Fiscal Year 2023. Godrej Interio, as a furniture firm, anticipates improved
operational opportunities as a result of the PM Gati Shakti Initiative’s
emphasis on the logistics industry.
“The announcement of Indian Railways
producing new products and efficient logistics services will provide a major
boost for small and medium firms,” said Anil Mathur, chief operating
officer of Godrej Interio. It will also have a good impact on the furniture
business, allowing producers to provide lower prices to end customers.”
Infrastructure development is the most
effective strategy to cut costs and increase competitiveness in the economy,
serving both the domestic and export markets. He praised the government’s
initiative to encourage private sector investment by taking the lead with a Rs
7.5 lakh crore investment.
“The
support for domestic manufacturing of capital equipment by doing away with duty
exemptions is also a welcome step. The economy is on a slow recovery path. This
