Speaking to reporters, Tirthankar Basu, Managing Director of Steelcase India, emphasised the chair’s advanced comfort features and stylish design, tailored for modern executives.

Steelcase announced significant local collaborations, expanding its SimplyIndia collection to include artisanal rugs, plush sofas, and accent pieces from Stanley Lifestyles. This initiative underscores Steelcase’s dedication to integrating Indian craftsmanship into its product lineup. Samantha Giam, VP of Marketing for Asia Pacific, reiterated Steelcase’s commitment to the “Make in India” initiative, with products like the Personality Plus and Think chair now manufactured locally.

This blend of global and local offerings enhances accessibility and quality for Indian consumers. Steelcase also announced a partnership with CEPT University, aiming to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry needs.
